Experience
Stephanie specializes in chemical dependency treatment and more broadly working with her patients to cultivate growth while fostering an environment where they can thrive and successfully navigate life’s daily challenges. She focused her work on residential drug and alcohol treatment doing individual and group counseling at the local sector of a large international non profit organization. Most recently she has been working at Valley Hospital focusing on severely mentally ill patients with chemical dependency, trauma issues, in patient and out-patient acute psychiatric issues as well as Freedom Care for current and former veterans.
Stephanie finds great inspiration from the work she does because of the opportunity to educate and inspire change in her clients.
Healthcare is a Family Affair
Coming from a family of helping professionals, Stephanie’s love of working with others began at a very young age. She has been working in behavioral health for 17+ years in non profit, community health and private sector environments. She began working with juveniles with behavioral issues providing both residential and home services. Working for a local nonprofit, Stephanie then began counseling at-risk families, particularly young women and children who were in life transition, by offering them the tools and skills to navigate successfully into safe and stable settings.
